Ireland - West Coast

We drove through Shannon heading west along the coast road (very scenic) and stopped for the night at Lissycasey, still in County Clare. We liked the sound of Fanny O'Dea's Pub so asked if they minded us staying the night in their carpark after our meal. No Problems! They are 'Ireland's Oldest Family Run Pub' established in 1695 and are famous for their Egg Flips! It is a hot egg flip laced with Jameson Whiskey - yum!!!!. The staff were friendly, the food was great and so was the Guinness says Pete.
